Braxton Ballew is an Applied Lecturer in the Department of Performing Arts at Clemson University, specializing in bass performance and composition. He has been a member of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra since 2003 and served as its Education Director from 2007 to 2021, overseeing music education programs. His performances extend to orchestras like the Charleston Symphony and Asheville Symphony.
- Eclectic performer with engagements at venues including the Peace Center and International Edgar Allan Poe Festival.
- Collaborative composer (with Sarah Black) for theater productions by institutions such as the Warehouse Theater and Furman University.
