Branko Kanjevac is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade, specializing in Silviculture. He holds a PhD and has been employed since 2014 at the Chair of Silviculture. His roles include teaching practical exercises in silvicultural subjects and serving as Secretary of the Chair. Kanjevac has published extensively in forestry research, focusing on forest regeneration, oak ecosystems, and silvicultural analytics. He has participated in multiple international projects and scientific conferences.

Research Interests: Silviculture, forest restoration, and ecological management of oak forests. His work emphasizes natural regeneration dynamics, light availability effects, and application of simulation methods in forestry. Recent studies include shelterwood regeneration impacts on sessile oak and climate change effects on forest ecosystems.
Grants & Projects: Co-investigator in 9 research projects, including COST Action FP 1301 (EuroCoppice). Leading the Center for Monitoring and Data Processing in Silviculture.
Labs/Teams: Head of the Center for Monitoring, Data Collection, and Processing in Silviculture at the Chair of Silviculture.
