Brandon M. Stanford is an Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Delaware, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from Temple University's Department of Africology and African American Studies, where his dissertation examined racial, gender, and criminal record biases in hiring processes. His research focuses on the cultural implications of artificial intelligence, implicit bias, and systemic inequities in healthcare, justice, and employment sectors. Teaching expertise includes historical and contemporary race relations, Whiteness studies, and U.S. Civil Rights movements.
Education: Ph.D. in Africology and African American Studies from Temple University.
