Brajendra Mishra

Brajendra Mishra is the Kenneth G. Merriam Professor of Mechanical & Materials Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Director of the Metal Processing Institute (MPI). He also leads the NSF-funded Industry/University Collaborative Research Center on Resource Recovery & Recycling. Previously, he held roles at the Colorado School of Mines and Tata Steel, and served as President of TMS and AIME. His expertise spans corrosion, materials processing, and sustainable resource management.

He advocates for student engagement in cutting-edge research to bridge academia and industry needs.
