Braimakis Konstantinos is an Assistant Professor at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), affiliated with the School of Mechanical Engineering and the Section of Thermal Engineering. He has been in his current role since 2023 and previously held research positions at NTUA and the University of Bayreuth, Germany.

His research focuses on the design, optimization, and techno-economic analysis of energy systems, including solar thermal, geothermal, bioenergy, and waste heat utilization technologies, as well as hybrid cogeneration/polygeneration systems, advanced power and cooling cycles, and energy storage processes.
He has contributed to editorial and review activities, including membership in the KCORC editorial board, guest editor roles for journals like Energy and Renewable Energy, and participation in the scientific committees of international ORC power systems seminars.
