Bradley Hendricks

Bradley Hendricks is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina. His expertise spans corporate disclosure, financial regulation, initial public offerings (IPOs), and entrepreneurship. He teaches financial reporting and business thought to graduate, undergraduate, and executive audiences, earning multiple Weatherspoon Awards for Teaching Excellence.

Dr. Hendricks’ research focuses on IPO roadshow communications, startup dynamics, and the impact of accounting standards on private firms. His work is published in top journals like Journal of Accounting Research and Management Science, and he received the Bullard Faculty Research Impact Award for influencing business practices. He advises the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) through his role on the Private Company Council, ensuring standards align with private company needs.

Before academia, he worked at Ernst & Young and a tech startup. He holds a PhD from the University of Michigan and degrees from the University of Utah, where he graduated with high honors.
