Bradley Graves is a Research Fellow in Environmental Sciences at the School of Natural Sciences, Macquarie University. He completed his PhD in Environmental Sciences (Geomorphology and Geospatial Science) in 2024, following an MRes (2018) and Bachelor of Environment (2016) from the same institution. His research focuses on geomorphology, geospatial science, environmental management, and sustainable agriculture, with specialization in dryland rivers and floodplain wetlands.
Research interests span geomorphology, geospatial information science, fire regimes, flood dynamics, environmental management, and sustainable agricultural practices in dryland ecosystems.
His publications primarily focus on fluvial geomorphology, wetland dynamics, and environmental impacts of agriculture, with recent work emphasizing GIS applications in river recovery and contaminant transport in agricultural systems.
Awards include:
- Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE) Honours Scholarship (2017)
- Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF) Award (2019)
He has led projects on palaeo-environmental reconstruction in floodplain wetlands and dryland river systems in Australia.
