Bradi L. Frei

Bradi L. Frei is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, affiliated with the College of Pharmacy and the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her pharmacy practice focuses on oncology at the Audie L. Murphy Veterans Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center, with a specialization in breast cancer treatment and palliative care.

• Education: Pre-pharmacy coursework at Texas A&M University; Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin (2001); post-graduate Master’s Degree and pharmacotherapy residency under Robert L. Talbert.

Dr. Frei’s research interests include anticoagulation, breast cancer pharmacotherapy, anemia management, pain treatment, and supportive care for cancer patients. She has extensively explored drug delivery technologies like Evaporative Precipitation into Aqueous Solution (EPAS) and Spray Freezing into Liquid (SFL) for antifungal agents in oncology settings.

Her professional accolades include the University of Texas at Austin Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award for her work on drug delivery technologies and being a finalist for Best Resident Poster at national conferences. Dr. Frei is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and Board Certified Oncology Specialist, actively contributing to national committees in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

At the Audie L. Murphy Veterans Hospital, Dr. Frei provided pharmaceutical care for oncology patients and precepted pharmacy students and residents. She played a key role in managing pharmacy aspects of oncology research protocols and continues to integrate clinical practice with academic mentorship at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center.
