Brad Miller is a Professor in the Department of Engineering & Physics at Harding University. His research focuses on mechanical face seals, gas film lubrication, and bio-inspired solid lubricant coatings for aerospace applications. He holds a Ph.D. (2000) and M.S. (1996) in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. (1992) in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
He has led a NASA-funded project (2017–2021) on bio-inspired PTFE coatings for space mechanisms. Miller is an ASME member since 2001 and serves as a Mechanical Engineering Program Evaluator. His teaching portfolio includes courses like Dynamics, Statics, Mechanics of Materials, and Mechanical Engineering Laboratory.
