Brad Johnson

Brad Johnson is a Professor of Environmental Studies at Davidson College, specializing in geomorphology and soil science. He teaches courses including Environmental Geology, Soil Science, and Geomorphology, while leading field research projects in diverse landscapes across the U.S.

• Research Focus: Landscape evolution, rock glacier formation, stream incision, and dune migration/sedimentation in response to climate change.
• Fieldwork: Active summer research expeditions in the San Juan Mountains (landslides, beaver dams) and North Carolina (stream erosion, urban hydrology).
