Božana Odžaković

Božana Odžaković is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Technology, University of Banja Luka, specializing in Food Technology and Industrial Biotechnology. She holds a prominent role in academic and research activities, contributing to over 50 peer-reviewed publications and multiple national/international research projects.

Her research focuses on food quality management, antioxidant properties of natural products, sensory analysis methodologies, and development of functional foods. Notable projects include studies on cornelian cherry utilization, coffee quality analysis, and optimization of bakery products for diabetic diets.

Key achievements include leadership in projects such as 'Development of nutritive enriched bakery products using crop by-products' (2025) and 'Characterization of dog rose fruits from Republic of Srpska' (2019-2021). She actively participates in academic governance and serves on evaluation committees for food safety and quality assurance.
