Bouris Demetri

Bouris Demetri is a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), affiliated with the Section of Fluids and the Laboratory of Aerodynamics. With a career spanning over two decades, he has held academic positions at NTUA and the University of Western Macedonia, transitioning from Assistant Professor to Professor since 2022.

Research Interests focus on environmental and particulate flows, including deposition/fouling mechanisms, thermal systems, heat exchangers, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). His work bridges theoretical and applied engineering, particularly in energy and environmental technologies.

Administrative Roles include Director of the Laboratory for Innovative Environmental Technologies. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and ASHRAE, contributing to professional standards and collaborations.
