Boukje M. de Gooijer

Boukje M. de Gooijer is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, University of Twente. Her research focuses on developing methodologies to analyze and reduce process variation in multistage manufacturing processes, particularly in metal forming. She completed her PhD within the Region of Smart Factories (RoSF) consortium, addressing robust optimization through surrogate modeling and numerical simulations. Her work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals related to industrial innovation and responsible consumption.

Education: Completed her PhD at University of Twente (2022), with a focus on computational methods for manufacturing processes.
