Botao Li is an Instructor and Ph.D. Candidate in the School of Architecture at Georgia Institute of Technology, part of the College of Design. His research focuses on Heritage Building Information Modeling (HBIM), integrating cutting-edge technologies like Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and photogrammetry for historic preservation. He has contributed to federally sponsored projects, including NCPTT and NPS-funded studies on enslaved dwellings and equalization schools.
