Boris Decourt

Boris Decourt is an Assistant Professor at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology & Neuroscience. He directs the Neurodegeneration and Translational Research Laboratory and contributes to the Garrison Institute on Aging and Center of Excellence for Translational Neuroscience and Therapeutics.

Research Interests:

• Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis and treatment
• Biomarker development for neurodegenerative disorders
• Clinical trials (NIH-funded and private foundation-supported)
• Pharmacological interventions in neurodegeneration
• Community-based dementia research in rural West Texas

Collaborations: Works with local clinicians to improve medical care for dementia patients. Participates in Project FRONTIER for rural healthcare access.

Training Opportunities: Offers internships and full-time positions for students/postdocs in neurodegeneration research.
