Bonnie Virag

Bonnie Virag is an Assistant Professor and Director of Community Engagement in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS). She specializes in integrating community engagement into healthcare education, leading curriculum development and overseeing pro bono clinical services through the Birmingham Free Clinic. Her work emphasizes social determinants of health, equitable care practices, and leadership development for students.
