Bonnie Baxter

Bonnie Baxter is a part-time instructor in Print Media at Concordia University, based in Val-David, Québec since 1972. A multidisciplinary artist with an extensive exhibition record across four decades, her work spans public-art installations, large-scale print media, video projection, and sculpture. She earned an M.F.A. from Vermont College, Norwich University, and has taught at Concordia since 1984.

She founded and directed Atelier du Scarabée since 1985 and has conducted workshops internationally in Canada, Mexico, the U.S., and Turkey. Her artistic achievements include winning awards at international print biennials and receiving the Prix à la création artistique from Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec in 2005.
