Bolanle Salaam is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia (Franklin College of Arts and Sciences). Her research focuses on applied mathematics, with specializations in computational/mathematical biology, infectious disease modeling, mathematical cognition, quantum cognition, and the mathematics education of future teachers. She also emphasizes equitable education, mathematics education policy, and student retention in STEM fields.

- Teaching: Regularly teaches courses such as MATH 2250 (Calculus I), MATH 1113 (Pre-Calculus), MATH 2002 (Numbers, Algebra, and Statistics for Elementary School Teachers), and has taught applied statistics courses like BUSN 3000 and STAT 2000.
