Bojeong Kim

Bojeong Kim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at Temple University's College of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on environmental nanogeoscience, including the fate and transport of engineered and natural nanoparticles, metal oxide behavior in geochemical processes, and mineral-microbe interactions using advanced electron microscopy. She teaches courses in environmental mineralogy, biogeochemistry, and analytical instrumentation.

Research interests include nanomaterials' environmental impacts, redox processes in mineral systems, and phytotoxicity of nanoparticles. Her work bridges geoscience and environmental engineering, emphasizing real-world applications like soil remediation and contaminant management.
