Bojan Cicic is a Historical Violin Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Royal College of Music (RCM) within the Historical Performance department. As a leading figure in period performance, he combines virtuosic skill with scholarly exploration of 17th- and 18th-century repertoire, particularly from the Venetian Republic and Habsburg Empire. He serves as concertmaster for ensembles like the Budapest Festival Orchestra, le Cercle d'Harmonie, and the European Union Baroque Orchestra, while also directing his own group, Suonar Cantando.
His research focuses on Baroque violin techniques, historical interpretation, and rare compositions from the Venetian Republic and Habsburg Empire. The group Suonar Cantando has performed at major festivals including Utrecht Early Music Festival and Festival de Sablé, with recent projects involving Vivaldi's Summer and Bach's Brandenburg Concertos.
