Beccy Goldberg

Beccy Goldberg is a Professor of Hand Horn and Baroque Horn at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). She specializes in teaching classical horn techniques, advanced hand horn, and historic performance practices. A graduate of RNCM with a First Class degree and performance distinction, she has held prominent positions with orchestras such as the Manchester Camerata, Northern Chamber Orchestra, and contemporary ensemble Psappha, notably participating in a live BBC Radio 3 recording of Ligeti’s virtuosic Trio. Her career spans chamber music coaching, orchestral performance, and professional skills training, blending modern and period instrument expertise.

Goldberg combines her academic role with practical experience, offering workshops on performance confidence and professional etiquette. She collaborates with the Northern Chamber Orchestra and has performed with period ensembles like the Hanover Band and English Baroque Soloists.
