Boikhutso Shianyana is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Plymouth. He holds a Master of Arts in Education (2013) and completed postgraduate qualifications including Pg. Certificate Practice (2019), PGCAP (2020), and Apprenticeship Academic Professional (2020). He is the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Lead for the School and has contributed to global health initiatives, such as the Hernia Operation Charity in Botswana and the Plymouth Hope Charity's vaccination outreach.
