Bogdan Prokopovych

Bogdan Prokopovych is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also serves as a Researcher at the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) and held roles such as Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island. His research focuses on institutional theory, economic sociology, social entrepreneurship, sustainable enterprise, and collective action organizations. Prokopovych has expertise in integrating sustainability into business curricula and has advised on renewable energy policies for U.S. Embassies in Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

Education includes a PhD in Business Administration (University of Rhode Island, 2012), a Master of Public Policy (University of Pittsburgh, 2004), and a Specialist degree from Poltava State Pedagogical University, Ukraine (1998). His research spans sustainability markets, institutional voids in developing economies, and the role of narrative in entrepreneurial discourse. Notable publications analyze shellfish industry associations, biofuel adoption, and social artrepreneurship movements in Imperial Russia.
