Bodil Petersson is a Professor of Archaeology and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Linnaeus University, Sweden. She specializes in archaeology, cultural heritage, and experimental heritage practices. Her research explores the intersection of archaeology with contemporary art, digital technologies, and societal engagement. Petersson holds a PhD from Lund University (2003) and has led projects such as 'Experimental Heritage Swedish-Irish Explorations' and 'Digital Humanities Initiative at Linnaeus University'. She directs the bachelor's program 'Cultural Heritage in the Present and Future' and co-leads the Centre for Applied Heritage and Centre for Digital Humanities. Recent publications include work on digital archaeology and experimental heritage methodologies.
