Blair Whitmarsh is the Dean of the School of Human Kinetics and Athletics at Trinity Western University (TWU), where he also holds academic roles in Sport Management and Kinesiology. He serves on the board of the Canadian Sport Institute and is a member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association. With 25 years of experience, he has advised athletes across multiple sports including ringette, hockey, and gymnastics. His expertise spans fitness, psychology of sport, and strength training.

Research & Affiliations: Blair authored Mind & Muscle, a book integrating mental and physical aspects of strength training, and publishes in fitness magazines. He chairs the British Columbia Physical Education and Kinesiology Articulation Committee and participates in organizations like the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Courses taught include HKIN 340 (Sport Psychology) and HKIN 195 (Foundations of Human Kinetics).
Labs/Teams: Engaged in interdisciplinary work through TWU’s School of Human Kinetics, focusing on applied sport psychology and athlete development.
