Bjørn Austbø is an Associate Professor at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He joined the faculty in 2015 after completing his PhD at NTNU in Energy and Process Engineering (2011-2015).
His research focuses on thermal turbomachinery, gas turbine technology, turbocompressor design, and multiphase pumping systems. Specific areas include natural gas and biogas liquefaction processes, HVAC system optimization, and exergy analysis of energy conversion systems.
