Biyun Xie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kentucky's Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering. Her research focuses on kinematically redundant robots, fault-tolerant robotics, and human-robot interaction, with applications in dangerous environments and collaborative systems.
Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University (2019), Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Technology (2015), and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Beijing University of Technology (2009).
