Her research focuses on Human-AI Collaboration, Explainable AI, and Machine Learning, with applications in Financial Question Answering systems. She developed FinBERT-QA, a BERT-based system for financial domain QA that improved state-of-the-art results by ~20% on ranking metrics.
Key technical contributions include integrating Anserini for BM25 retrieval, developing pointwise and pairwise learning approaches for BERT fine-tuning, and creating open-source tools for financial data processing. Her work combines Information Retrieval, Deep Learning, and Financial Data Analysis.
