Her research centers on Jewelry and Metalware Design within Traditional Turkish Arts, specializing in casting techniques like lost-wax casting. She bridges technical craftsmanship with interdisciplinary art approaches, exploring how traditional motifs inform contemporary design while addressing artisanal production challenges. This dual focus manifests in both material innovation and business sustainability within craft ecosystems.
Her 2022 publications analyze jewelry casting workflows and workshop dynamics, revealing critical intersections between technical precision, creative design, and market viability in Turkey's artisanal sector. Both studies emphasize preserving cultural heritage through modernized production and entrepreneurial frameworks.
She actively mentors student researchers as consultant for TÜBİTAK 2209-A/2209 projects (2024-2025) and leads a TÜBİTAK BİDEB project (2025), though she has no thesis advisees to date. Her extensive teaching portfolio spans Basic Design, Ceramics, Portfolio Development, and Entrepreneurship across undergraduate programs.
