Bill Todd is a Professor of the Practice in the Department of Strategy and Innovation at the Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology. Since 2011, he has played a pivotal role in advancing Healthcare Management education at his alma mater, developing three core courses and creating original case studies each semester. He teaches across multiple areas including Principles of Management, Entrepreneurship Forum, and Strategic Management, and serves as a Faculty Guide in the prestigious Stamps President's Scholars Program. His academic influence extends globally through invited study abroad programs at Oxford and the National University of Ireland.

He was named a Chancellor's Learning Scholar in 2018 and received the prestigious Ivan Allen, Jr. Prize for Progress and Service in 2010. Additionally, he has been honored as one of the '100 Most Influential People in Georgia' for seven years, reflecting his broad societal impact.
Todd has held significant leadership roles beyond the classroom, including serving as Interim President and CEO of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association in 2019 and as board chair of the association. He previously led major healthcare initiatives as president and CEO of the Georgia Cancer Coalition and founding president of the Georgia Research Alliance. His career spans over four decades in Atlanta, combining executive leadership with academic contribution.
He is actively involved in mentoring students through the Stamps President's Scholars Program and has led study abroad initiatives in healthcare and biomedical engineering. His dedication to education, community service, and institutional advancement underscores his enduring commitment to Georgia Tech and the broader public good.
