Bill Simonsen is a Professor in the School of Public Policy at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on public sector financial management and policy, including municipal bond sales and citizen participation in public decisions. He has held editorial roles in journals like Public Budgeting & Finance and collaborates with Mark Robbins. He directed the MPA program at UConn from 2001 to 2014 and previously led programs at the University of Oregon.
