Bill Poellmitz is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Marketing at UCF's College of Business. He teaches courses in Microeconomics, Entrepreneurial Marketing, and Applied Business Strategy. With over 40 years of corporate entrepreneurship experience, he co-founded ClearSky Technologies (hosted services for cellular industry) and Cerulean Technology (mobile data software).
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, B.A. in Economics, M.B.A. from Crummer Graduate School, and D.B.A. from the University of Florida. As a partner at venVelo venture capital firm, he supports tech startups. Professional interests include international business development and geospatial applications.
