Bill Heddle is a Physician Scientist at Flinders University, with extensive clinical and academic engagement in cardiology. He has served as a Senior Staff Specialist in Cardiology at Flinders Medical Centre since 1989 and leads the Arrhythmia Service within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN). His work integrates clinical care, medical education, and research, with a focus on cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular health.

Research interests include longitudinal integrated clerkships, work-integrated learning, and continuous assessment and feedback in medical education. His clinical expertise spans cardiac arrhythmias, pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and sudden cardiac death.
