Bill Freind

Dr. Bill Freind is a Professor in the Department of English at Rowan University's College of Humanities & Social Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Washington, an M.A. in Creative Writing from Syracuse University, and a B.A. in English from the College of the Holy Cross.

His research focuses on U.S. literature, 20th/21st-century poetry, and creative writing pedagogy. Notable works include editing Scubadivers and Chrysanthemums (2011) and authoring poetry collections like American Field Couches (2008).
