Bill D Carroll

Dr. Bill D Carroll is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where he has served since 1981. He previously held roles at Auburn University and visiting positions at UC Berkeley and the University of Washington. His academic leadership includes serving as Dean of UTA's College of Engineering from 2000 to 2011, during which the college saw significant growth in enrollment, research expenditures, and faculty. He is a Life Fellow of the IEEE and a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Alabama.
