Bill Brown is an Associate Professor in the Department of Media & Technology Studies and Production at the University of North Carolina. His work focuses on the intersection of landscape, human experience, and technology. He is renowned for his experimental films screened globally at prestigious venues like the Rotterdam Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and MoMA in New York. Additionally, he co-founded the Zine Machine: Durham Printed Matter Festival and the Cosmic Rays Film Festival, an annual platform for experimental and first-person cinema.
