Professor Nikolic's research centers on biological activities of natural products and synthetic nanomaterials, with dual focus areas. In Microbiology, she investigates antimicrobial potential emphasizing antivirulence properties that disrupt bacterial pathogenicity without inducing resistance. Her Genotoxicology work assesses genotoxic/antigenotoxic potential and toxicological risks of novel medications/supplements, aiming to develop safer therapeutic agents through comprehensive risk-benefit analysis of compound interactions.
She maintains scholarly profiles on ResearchGate, Google Scholar, ORCID, and Scopus, though specific publications and awards were not documented in source materials.
