Bijal D. Amin

Bijal D. Amin, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pathology and Medicine (Dermatology) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She serves as Director of Dermatopathology and Program Director of the Dermatopathology Fellowship at Montefiore-Einstein. Her clinical focus is diagnosing inflammatory and neoplastic skin diseases through tissue analysis. Dr. Amin completed a BA/MD at George Washington University, residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center (with chief residency), and a dermatopathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She also holds a Healthcare Information Technology certificate from Columbia University (2020).

Her research aligns with clinical interests in dermatopathology and extends into clinical informatics. Key professional affiliations include the College of American Pathologists and American Society of Dermatopathology. Notable recognition includes the 2015 Teacher of the Year Award from Einstein’s Division of Dermatology.
