معرفی
Bibi Lange is a Clinical Lecturer at the Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark, affiliated with the Research unit of Oto Rhino Laryngology (Odense) and working across KI and OUH institutions. Her primary academic home is the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark.
Her research focuses on two main clinical areas: chronic rhinosinusitis and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT, also known as Rendu Osler Weber Disease). Her work spans epidemiological studies, clinical investigations, and outcome registry development, with particular emphasis on quality of life assessment and disease prevalence in Danish populations.
Lange's recent publications demonstrate a clear trend toward international collaboration, particularly in the development of the Chronic Rhinosinusitis Outcome Registry (CHRINOSOR) using mHealth technology. Her work on HHT has increasingly focused on serious complications including stroke risk and bleeding disorders, highlighting the multi-system nature of this vascular condition.
Lange serves as a co-supervisor for PhD students, including K. S. Larsen, and has been involved in multiple significant research projects including the GA2LEN survey and the current RHINOLOGY and VASCULAR MALFORMATIONS project investigating chronic rhinosinusitis (2022-2025).
Her clinical and research activities include numerous presentations at professional conferences, media contributions to public health education, and active participation in European reference networks for rare vascular diseases.
