Bharathi Jayanthi Zvara

Dr. Bharathi Jayanthi Zvara is an Associate Professor in the Department of Maternal and Child Health at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also serves as Associate Chair of Research in her department, Faculty Fellow at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, and Faculty Fellow in the Department of Integrated Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine. Her research focuses on understanding the effects of early-life adversity on child development, emphasizing family systems, caregiving practices, and environmental influences.
