Bhagya Gunawardena is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics Finance & Marketing at RMIT University's City Campus in Australia. She focuses on applied economic research, particularly in the areas of education, gender, and labour economics, employing experimental and quasi-experimental methodologies. Her work addresses cost-effective strategies to enhance educational outcomes and tackle gender disparities in STEM fields through peer learning and performance analysis. She is currently open to supervising research students at the Masters or PhD level.
