Beverly Kris Jaeger-Helton

Beverly Kris Jaeger-Helton is a Teaching Professor and Director of Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Curriculum at Northeastern University’s Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. With a PhD in Human-Machine Systems Engineering and a career spanning 20 years at Northeastern, she has been recognized as a 15-time Professor of the Year awardee across Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and First-Year Engineering programs.

Research & Teaching Focus:
Her work bridges Biomechanics, Human Factors Engineering, Capstone Design Pedagogy, and Smart Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing. She champions compassionate design and human performance engineering, with publications exploring Parkinson’s disease through quantitative handwriting analysis and AI-driven training platforms.
