Dr Beverly Bergman is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Glasgow's School of Health & Wellbeing. Previously, she served in the British Army as a medical officer, holding roles such as Parkes Professor of Preventive Medicine and Army Scientific Advisory Committee member. She completed a PhD on military veterans' health in 2016. Her research focuses on epidemiology, military/veteran health, and intersections of Earth sciences with medicine.

Research interests include veteran mental health, chronic disease epidemiology, and historical military medicine. Key findings include studies on veteran suicide trends, diabetes risks, and long-term health outcomes. Awards include OBE (2021) for services to veterans.
