Bev Holmes

Bev Holmes is President & CEO of the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) and holds adjunct appointments at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences and the University of British Columbia's School of Population and Public Health. She co-chairs the National Alliance of Provincial Health Research Organizations (NAPHRO) and leads the BC Academic Health Science Network, including the BC SUPPORT Unit.

Her academic work focuses on knowledge translation, health communication, and public involvement in health research. She earned her MA and PhD from Simon Fraser University's School of Communication and has driven organizational redesign and expanded funding programs at MSFHR since 2010.
