Dr. Amanda Slaunwhite is an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia's School of Population & Public Health and a key figure in correctional health research. She serves as Scientific Director for Correctional Health Services at BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services and previously led the BC Provincial Overdose Cohort at the BC Centre for Disease Control (2018-2024).
