Bettina Minder

Bettina Minder is a Lecturer at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences & Arts' School of Computer Science and Information Technology, with a PhD in Innovation Management from Aalborg University. Her research focuses on innovation processes, design thinking, and digital transformation. She has held roles including founding member of the CreaLab Future Lab and member of the Social Design Network.

Education includes a PhD in Design & Innovation Management (2018), MA in Slavic Languages/Literature (2005), and Swiss Graphic Design certification (1991). She completed a university didactics certificate (2021) and has legal interpreting certifications for Russian-German-Russian.

Key research interests span Innovation Management, Science Fiction as design tool, and Human-Centred methodologies. Notable projects include VA-PEPR (voice assistant studies), STITCHed (craft-based innovation), and Digitale Transformation der Gemeinde Emmen. She also contributed to museum social media strategies through Audience+ initiatives.

Her work integrates speculative design, co-creation, and interdisciplinary collaboration across academia, industry, and community sectors. Current roles include teaching innovation management and leading educational innovation projects.
