Betsy Schamber is an Instructor in the Department of Education within the College of Education & Human Performance at Dakota State University. She contributes to teacher preparation programs with a focus on pedagogy, child development, and instructional strategies.
Her educational background includes:
- M.E. in Administration, South Dakota State University, 2001
- B.S. in Elementary Education, University of South Dakota, 1995
Her research and professional interests center on elementary education, teaching methodologies, and educational technology integration in K-12 settings. She is actively involved in shaping future educators through field experiences and innovative teaching tools like the Virtual Avatar Learning Experience (VALE) and Dewey telepresence robot.
