Bethany Forseth

Bethany Forseth, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences and Athletic Training at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her research focuses on pediatric obesity treatment in rural settings, emphasizing family-based behavioral interventions, neighborhood environmental influences, and telemedicine adaptation.

She is a KL2 Scholar through the Frontiers Clinical & Translational Science Institute, which supports her work in optimizing treatment protocols via adaptive trial designs. Her research also explores the intersection of yoga, physical activity, and health outcomes, while addressing challenges like the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on rural families.
