Alice Zhang, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy Education at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is a KL2 Scholar supported by the Frontiers Clinical & Translational Science Institute, focusing on parent-mediated autism interventions through telehealth.
Her research addresses feeding challenges in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), emphasizing accessibility for rural and underserved families. Zhang’s work bridges behavioral psychology and clinical practice, informed by her doctoral studies on health promotion for adults with disabilities and postdoctoral fellowship at the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program.
