Rosmary Ros-Demarize

Dr. Rosmary Ros-Demarize is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), specializing in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. She holds a PhD from Florida International University and completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at MUSC. Her research focuses on transdiagnostic parenting interventions for young children with comorbid conditions, particularly autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and disruptive behavior disorders. She examines how interventions traditionally used for disruptive behavior disorders can improve outcomes for children with ASD, as well as the role of comorbidity and environmental factors like parenting practices and treatment barriers.
